Art Zone
"Space Chick" was drawn as a side-kick for "Space Dude".
This drawing was done with a Koh-I-Noor 0.3mm technical pencil with HB lead. The shading was blended with a blending stump (tortillion).
The original was done on an 9 by 12 inch smooth Bristol. The figure in this drawing is about 9 inches tall.
I scanned it into PhotoShop CS and added the heavy black outline to match to the Space Dude drawing. I think the scan lost a lot of the subtleness of the shading and I'm not too crazy about the way her left leg turned out (the leg on your right).
