Art Zone
This drawing is an ornate Dwarven Battle Axe. Like the sword, I added some small nicks here and there to make it look like it had been used in a fight. I gave this axe the same kind of handle detail as the mace, so they actually look like they could be carried by the same person.
This was one of the three "weapons" sketches I did in the same week, don't ask me why, I was just into weapons that week for some reason.
I used a graphite HB pencil then inked it with a Micron 005 ink pen then scanned into PhotoShop 7.0 and added the drop shadow.
